Mindset

“Attention is our Greatest Asset.”

To change your life, you have to change yourself. To change yourself, you have to change your mindset. Mindset is the apex of our training program. We believe that lasting, positive changes come from shifting the way you see yourself and the world. The key to creating lasting change isn’t finding the right answers, rather it’s asking the right questions.

Meals

“Count Quality, Not Calories.”

Nutrition is an integral part of health and wellness. In our 16:5:1 model, Meals represents the 5 times day that we typically spend preparing and consuming our meals and snacks. What you eat makes just as big, if not bigger impact on your fitness as exercise does. Our goal is to help you learn how to count quality, not calories and create a healthy relationship with food through creating Awareness, Action, Challenge and Sustainability.

Movement

“Increase the quality and efficiency of our functional movement patterns”

Motion creates emotion and the fastest way to change your state is to get physically stronger. Conquering workouts and new challenges will give you the power to change your outlook. Our movement goal is to increase the quality and efficiency of your functional movement patterns. Fatigue is never the goal of any workout, QUALITY and EFFICIENCY is. Our focus is to make all athletes move better by placing CONSISTENCY above INTENSITY.

The FNS 16:5:1 Philosophy

The FNS Program Philosophy is based around the 16:5:1 Formula. With 24 hours in a day, typically you spend 8 hours sleeping, which means you spend 16 hours of the day in an active and ready state. Of those 16 hours, 5 are typically spent preparing and consuming meals and snacks, with 1 hour a day being devoted to exercise.

This hourly breakdown illustrates why having a positive mindset is the most important aspect of being fit. If you have a negative mindset during those 16 hours you spend awake, it can have a negative affect your meal choices, exercise productivity, relationships, work productivity, etc., and vice versa. It is important to remember this formula as you go through your Game Plan. Keeping a positive mindset will keep you focused and help you make healthier choices throughout the day.

Your FNS Game Plan does not promote rapid change. By focusing on one healthy habit at a time, you can create a lifestyle that you will sustain throughout the rest of your life.
