4 WAYS TO BURN MORE BELLY FAT

Are You Drinking Enough Water?

Water is important. We all know that. However, a majority of Americans are chronically dehydrated and don’t even know it. Many don’t think about hydration until it’s usually too late and they’re already dehydrated because they treat their water intake as an afterthought. But, the reality of the situation is that water plays a huge role in our health AND results.

A good rule of thumb is to drink a minimum of HALF YOUR BODY WEIGHT IN OUNCES OF WATER A DAY. Regardless of your goals, body type, workouts, or any other variables, water is essential to life and essential to helping you reach your goals and the faster you can make it a fundamental part of your everyday lifestyle, the better.

Now, drinking half your body weight in ounces of water may sound like a lot of water to drink if you are not currently doing so, but keep in mind though that you’ll want to space your water intake over the course of the ENTIRE day. Below are some tips to help you increase your water intake:

– Set alarms on your phone or in your calendar to remind yourself to drink a glass of water every hour, as well as first thing in the morning when you wake up and right before you go to bed.

– Drink a full glass of water 15mins before your next meal or any time you feel the urge to snack between meals.

– We often mistake thirst for hunger so when you’re mindlessly snacking and never feeling satisfied, chances are your body is trying to tell you that it needs water, not food. If you’re suddenly in the mood to snack, drink a glass of water and wait about 20mins. If you’re still hungry, then eat a small healthy snack to satiate your hunger, otherwise, save yourself the unnecessary calories and wait until your next meal to eat.

Remember, do whatever tips or tricks that work for you; as long as you put your entire attention and focus into creating the habit of being properly hydrated, you’ll start seeing results and benefits in no time.
