Happy early Halloween! We hope you will enjoy the celebration with your family and a responsible amount of candy.
In a way, Halloween is a holiday about transformation. Everybody has something about them that they want to change in some way. Halloween brings out that spirit (in a spooky, candy-coma kind of way).
Whether it’s your weight, diet, or anything else you want to change, Halloween is a reminder that you can be whoever you want to be.
This spirit doesn’t have to go away when November starts. You should carry that message with you wherever you go throughout the year. You can be whoever you want to be.
Take Action
Procrastination is not a part of success. Get started today, as soon as possible. The sooner you get started, the sooner you’ll accomplish what you set out to do. Change is going to happen whether you want it to or not. If you want to be in control of what that change is, start now. Be prepared by working to get ahead.
Once you take that action, be persistent. Change doesn’t come overnight. Attack every day with energy, perseverance, and passion. Before you know it, you’ll be a completely different person than you were before. That change will be for the better.
Create Confidence
As we talked about earlier in the week, creating self-confidence is essential. You have to believe in yourself, no matter what. You are the only you. Nobody else has done or will do what you will do in your life. Realize that, appreciate it, and implement your new confidence in your daily life.
You can build confidence in a few different ways. The best ways are getting things done and monitoring your progress. Seeing real results will make you feel like you can accomplish anything. Make sure you’re around positive people, avoid comparing yourself to others, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Be Who You Want to Be
You have to truly believe you can be what you want to be. It won’t happen overnight, but as you tell yourself you’re who you want to be, you will be that person as you work towards it. You will find success. With hard work and dedication, you will have everything you’ve ever wanted.
Action was the word of this week. Think of your favorite action movie hero. Indiana Jones, Luke Skywalker, John McClane, whoever. As you celebrate Halloween this weekend (maybe dressed up like one of them), think about what they all have in common. They take action, are confident, and don’t give up until the job is done.
You are the action hero of your life. Go out and win the day!
