Do you think you’re powerful?
We want you to say yes to that. You ARE powerful, and you have more power than you realize.
Power comes from being able to take control of your life. As an FNS Athlete, you’ve taken control of your health, and you are working towards health.
This week, practice that power. Feel it in you and feed it with hard work, determination, and results. By the end of the week, be able to say that you powered through everything you could. Here’s how to do just that:
Take control over your diet and exercise
Power is control, and one thing you always have control over is what you eat and how you move. Choose to eat right and exercise often this week. You can and will feel the power of your body working at its full potential.
Plan and prep your meals as soon as you can. Don’t cheat this week! Stick to your plan, no matter what. You can and will be better for it. Fill your plates with delicious protein, whole grain carbs, and healthy fats.
Block out time this week to get your exercise in. If you don’t think you have the time, make the time. Any exercise is better than no exercise. Even if all you can do is a thirty-minute walk, you’ll be better for it.
Get everything done that you need to get done
Hopefully, you have your to-do list for this week. If not, write down all the things you need to get done this week personally and professionally.
Finish everything on that list this week – no excuses. Do whatever it takes. When Sunday rolls around, have a list for next week and be ready to do the same thing.
When you finish everything (you’ll probably be done by Friday because you are POWERFUL), do the things you’ve wanted to do for a while but haven’t had time. Enjoy the free time you created by crushing your goals for the week.
Give it your all
Effort, effort, effort. You have to go all-out this week. Be powerful, be strong, be prepared, and give it your all.
When you get knocked down, get back up as soon as you can. Don’t let anything keep you on the ground. There will be ups and downs this week, but you are more powerful than a bad day.
Come Sunday, you should be at least a little bit tired. If you’ve used your time to its maximum potential, a part of you will probably want to take it easy and coast next week. You know you can’t do that, though; you’re too powerful to coast.
