Core means the base, the center of our body encompassing our chest, abs, hips, and back. It stabilizes our body & enables the movement with balance. When we have a strong core, it allows the body to function correctly.
What is the importance of core strength?
Stronger Back
To avoid back pains, keep your back straight & body aligned. If the core is stronger, our neck and back are also stronger, and if it is not strong, it leads to back pain and muscle strain.
Straight Posture
A good posture of our body reduces the additional strain on the body, reducing the wear & tear of the body. It is crucial to have a strong core for better oxygen supply, better breathing, eliminating physical pain during long hours of standing or sitting, and increasing overall exercise output.
Stability & Balance
Core workouts train our pelvis, lower back, hips, and abdomen muscles to work together. It leads to better balance and stability for daily activities such as walking, running, and sitting. A strong core will consist of muscles that work together to support our body. It will make us less susceptible to injuries, keeping our body in position and minimizing strain on our muscles and joints.
