From time to time, we get so worried about the micro that we miss out on the macro impact that we made for ourselves and the people around us. When we sweat the small stuff, we get distracted. Our focus shifts! It causes a ripple effect to our mindset, our energy, and our potential to succeed.
This effect is PRESSURE PARALYSIS on our goals. It is guilt, and it robs us of our growth!
As we discussed last week in our team huddle, to increase your self-confidence, keep simple promises to yourself.
What we do not realize that us doing something-ONE step different from what we were doing before, is a 200% increase in what we are doing right now. We did improve; we did make a change.
When it comes to making a change to ourselves, we must ask ourselves its importance to us. Is it good for you? Is it going to make you happier? Make you healthier? Does it have a positive impact on your life and others?
If it is worth doing it, do it every single day or do not do it at all.
Having the behavior of doing something occasionally will not have a big impact, and the hard work over a long period will not achieve the results you may hope.
Read an obituary. Ask yourself, what would your family, your loved love, or your friend write about you?
Then you have to decide what is necessary for you? Will you do whatever it takes to keep it?
To increase your self-confidence, keep the simple promises to yourself.
