Get better. Do better.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

– Confucius

Get better. Do better.

A new week is back here! You’re blessed with the opportunity to crush another week.

How are you going to take advantage of that opportunity?

What is your plan to squeeze every bit of potential out of the time you’ve been given?

This week, focus on three things: pushing yourself, learning from your mistakes, and progressing. If you do that, you’ll be better following Monday than you are today.

How do I get better this week?

Jack Canfield once said, “Remember, you and you alone are responsible for maintaining your energy. Give up blaming, complaining and excuse making, and keep taking action in the direction of your goals—however mundane or lofty they may be.”

Get better. Do better.

How to get better this week?

Push yourself

Give it your all & smile at your hard work.

Learn from your mistakes

You know what works & what doesn’t. Emphasize on what works!

Progress

To continue to rise, you must challenge yourself to progress.

Part of life is growing and becoming better every day.

What steps are you taking to improve your life?

  • Go all-in

Sunday is a day for rest; you will need that rest on Sunday if you push yourself hard enough. Give it all you have so you can sit back on Sunday and smile at your hard work.

Make hard work fun.

Recognize how much better you are by consistently challenging yourself to do your best. Do not get complacent. If you genuinely want to be great, maximum effort is required.

Do more than you did last week. Work harder than you did. Add another plate onto the bar, run that extra mile, and work that extra hour. You will not regret it when you see the fruits of your labor.

  • Don’t forget your past. Learn from it

If you didn’t reach your potential last week, do whatever you can to avoid those same mistakes this week. You know what works and doesn’t work for you, and emphasize what works.

Something will not go exactly how you wanted it to this week. That’s okay! Rebound quickly and smile as you move on to your next task.

Note what didn’t work so you can avoid that mistake next week.

Every day, we grow as individuals. We constantly learn, whether we know it or not, and small lessons add up over time. Next week, you’ll be more intelligent than you are now, and I look forward to that and take pride in your effort.

  • Getting better

Next week, be better than you are going to be this week. Add another step and challenge yourself differently. Do not stay still, no matter what. Keep progressing week after week after week.

Plateaus are natural, and complacency will not get you to the next level; when you stay in the same spot for too long, progress halts. To break free from a plateau and continue to rise, you must challenge yourself to progress.

As you go about your week, notice things you want to improve on next week. Write them down.

Realize that you can progress in a million different ways. All it takes is effort, and go out and give that effort.
