What do you mean by Accountability in Fitness?

“Taking personal accountability is a beautiful thing because it gives us complete control of our destinies” – Heather Schuck.

Today’s Focus is about accountability and how to set yourself up for success! Especially when it comes to this Unbreakable Challenge. Accountability will be the key to your success. There are 2 forms of Accountability that you will need: Personal accountability and Accountability from your Teammates. But to keep yourself accountable, you first need to know what your goals are and what you need to stay accountable. What does accountability look like to you? Do you need hard, tough love, or do you need positive words of encouragement? Remember, accountability is surrounding yourself with people who empower you, not people who enable you to go easy and slack off on your goals.

Self-Assessment of the Day:

What are your goals? What are your intentions for the next 4 weeks? How do you need to be kept accountable for your goal? What does accountability look like to you? Assess your circle – Are the people you are surrounding yourself with enabling you or empowering you?

MUST DO Action Items of the Day:

Complete your Challenge tasks for this week, including:

1. Complete the Performance Baseline Test and submit your scores below. For you to write down your goals effectively, you need to know where you are starting. What is your baseline, and what does progress improvement look like to you?

2. Then fill out your Goals and Intention for the 4-Week Challenge and submit them below. Be specific and objective!

3. Reach out to someone (either in the FNS Community or a family member or friend) who is doing something that you want to be doing or is where you want to be and ask for help by sharing your goals with them. So that they can help keep you accountable.

Remember, the greatest quality of a leader is the ability to ask for help!
