Do you have a healthy relationship with food?

Food is Your Friend! Create a Healthier Relationship with Food

Stop starving yourself. Stop going on juice cleanses and detoxes. Stop the extreme yo-yo diets. Stop looking for quick fixes, resort to whatever fad diet is trendy, and punish your body in the process.

Everyone’s body is different, and there is no “One Size Fits All” approach in nutrition. You cannot expect to be consistent with your diet when you are only eating 800 or 1200 calories every day or making massive changes that you know deep down are not sustainable.

Diet culture has created a stigma around food that causes people to feel like food is the enemy and that the less you eat, the better. And while that may be true to an extent, because weight loss is eating in a caloric deficit of your daily maintenance calories, you also need to give your body the fuel it needs to work correctly, especially if you are active and working out.

The truth is, although eating in an extreme deficit will yield you fast results in the short term (hence why detoxes and cleanses will get you to drop 10lbs in 2 weeks), it is not sustainable. If anything, you will end up gaining MORE weight afterward.

The way to beat the yo-yo dieting mentality is to create a healthier relationship between food and your body. Learning and creating the self-awareness to understand what foods fuel you and make you feel good is what good nutrition is all about.

We are looking to create a lifestyle change where you can finally ditch the “DIETS” and start eating to fuel your body so that you feel energized, focused, and happy. No more depriving yourself or feeling guilty because you broke your diet or fell off the wagon.
