Are you one of those people who are confused about knowing what they need to do to get healthy?
This is because the world has overcomplicated things.
There are so many diets and workouts out there that claim to be the best, but the truth is that getting healthy does not have to be a complicated process.
There are three pillars to health.
1) The first is your mindset.
Your mindset determines what choices you make, and your choices impact your health.
You must prioritize sleep to maintain what choices you make, and your choices are what impact your health.
You must prioritize sleep to maintain a healthy mindset, but you must also write down your daily goals to be at the top of your mind.
Maximize your focus each day.
Write your goals down twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.
This will help you create a productive day and avoid doing “busy” work.
When you write your big goals down two times a day, you aren’t allowing yourself to get sidetracked by insignificant things.
Every action we take is derived from our focus or lack thereof.
Set yourself up to win by constantly setting your compass for success.
2) The second pillar is your meals.
My meal plan is simple. D.E.S. —Don’t Eat Shit.
This may seem blunt, but there is nothing more honest than this. The reality is we know what is healthy and what is unhealthy.
The problem most people face is that their nutrition is tied to their behavior, and their behavior is tied to their focus.
Writing down your goals twice a day gets to the root of the problem and helps align your focus and shift your behavior to a positive, healthy state.
Before every meal, ask yourself:
“Will this help me or hurt me in achieving my goals?”
Take ownership of how you fuel your body.
3) The last pillar is your movement.
There are no magic exercises that help transform your body, and the only exercises that profoundly affect your body are the exercises you enjoy doing and will do consistently.
Consistency trumps intensity.
Get on a consistent training plan that combines mobility, strength, cardio, and some fun factor to keep you engaged.
If you follow these guidelines, your health is guaranteed to improve, and it really is this simple.
Keep it Simple and Sustainable.
